Grave in St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery of Captain John Edwin Sugden D.S.O., 10th Battalion Royal Irish Rifles killed in action 28th September 1916, Adjutant since 1916 and awarded the D.S.O. for his actions at Thiepval on the Somme on 1st July 1916, killed by German shell-fire aged 38 years.


Grave in St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery of Honorary Lieutenant & Quartermaster Joseph Bowyer 11th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers M.C. killed in action 9th June 1917 aged 50 years.


Graves in St. Quentin Cabaret Military Cemetery of 14 men of the 14th Battalion Canadian Infantry killed in action on the 13th October 1915. Holding the line opposite Petit Douve Farm the War Diary records “Brigade made a demonstration consisting of artillery bombardment and feint attack with smoke bombs. Heavy retaliation by enemy artillery caused considerable casualties. Killed 18 (sic) wounded 26. Trenches suffered considerable damage. Behaviour of troops admirable though many of them had not been under serious shell fire before.”
